<p>I recently discovered <a title="pageMash WordPress Plugin by Joel Starnes" href="http://joelstarnes.co.uk/blog/pagemash/" target="_blank">pageMash</a>, an excellent plugin for WordPress by Joel Starnes.  pageMash makes organizing your WordPress pages incredibly easy.  If you have a page-heavy WordPress site, it is highly recommended.  I set up the <a title="Tactics.com Articles &amp; Buyers' Guides on the Tactics Grind" href="http://grind.tactics.com/articles-and-buyers-guides" target="_blank">Articles and Buyers&#8217; Guides</a> for <a title="Tactics.com" href="http://www.tactics.com" target="_blank">Tactics</a> on the <a title="Tactics' Blog: The Tactics Grind" href="http://grind.tactics.com" target="_blank">Tactics Grind</a> last spring, and I really wish I&#8217;d known about pageMash at the time.  We had three sections of pages, with about 10 pages each.  I went through a couple of iterations before I came up with an organizational structure I was happy with.  The amount of time I put into this would have been reduced by about 80%  with pageMash.</p>
<p><p class="flickrTag_container"><a href="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3294/3131591177_9dd2595e1f.jpg" class="flickr" title="A screenshot of pageMash at work in the WordPress admin on SwellPathInteractive.com. &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.flickr.com/photos/28244848@N05/3131591177/&quot;&gt;view&amp;nbsp;on&amp;nbsp;flickr&amp;raquo;&lt;/a&gt;" rel="lightbox"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3294/3131591177_9dd2595e1f_m.jpg" alt="Array" class="flickr small photo" /></a></p>pageMash is an AJAX based interface that allows you to drag-and-drop your pages from one parent to another.  We&#8217;re currently using it on the Swellpath Interactive site, mostly for our Services section right now, but likely for the About section in the future.  We&#8217;re not doing a whole lot of re-organization, but it pageMash provides a quick snapshot of the sitemap and page organization structure.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d love to hear about plugins with similar functionality, and see if there is anything on par with pageMash.  Until then though, I&#8217;ll be sticking with this useful enhancement to WordPress.</p>
